Matt found his passion for real estate early in his sales career. His sales career started in 2006 selling golf clubs and teaching junior golfers at different golf courses he worked at and then took a sales position at a Chevrolet dealership shortly after where he stayed in the car business for 13 years. Every summer in his childhood he would visit his family in Dothan and couldn’t wait to move here himself.  So in 2009, he decided to trade the winters of Illinois for the warmer climate of Dothan. His family has farmed and logged timber in the Slocomb and Cottonwood areas since the 1850’s with several of those in the family still doing so. 

Matt has a business degree, earned his real estate license in 2019 and has been in professional sales since 2006.  Matt has been helping clients buy and sell properties ever since with over 75 successful closings and $12 Million in sales. He specializes in listing, selling and marketing homes, as well as representing buyers in land, home, and investment purchases. He’s consistently one of the top agents in the market, thanks to his personalized approach. Matt tailors his work to fit each client’s goals, offering specialized care and attention to every detail along the way. 

Matt and his team believe in providing clients with all the information they need to make smart decisions instead of trying to sell clients something. What really sets them apart is their level of care, availability, and open communication. They know that many agents and sales-people fall short in these areas, instead focusing on selling someone something, so Matt and his team made a decision very early on to go above and beyond to show their clients just how much they appreciate them.

Matt’s wife, Heather, has passed her real estate exam and runs a successful cleaning business called “Crystal Clean.” Their son, Kaden, is working on his real estate license and plans to join the family business soon. When he’s not working, you might find Matt playing golf, strumming his guitar, or relaxing at the beach. He’s also a member of his local town council and is always looking for ways to give back to the community.
